Truck Driver

Job Description We are looking for a licensed truck driver who will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods and other articles of trade to our customers. A Class A CDL or commercial driver's license is required. Truck drivers typically transport materials and goods among manufacturing, distribution, and retail centers. Some also perform sales and customer service as part of the job. Successful candidates must have a clean driving record and must pass a drug and alcohol test. Other duties include inspecting their vehicles for mechanical issues relating to safe operation, and basic repair work. Responsibilities Overseeing salespeople, cashiers, shelf stockers, and other employees. Managing finances and preparing an annual budget. Implementing measures to avoid stock damages, theft, and wastage. Monitoring shelve stocks and product displays, and the general appearance of the store. Skills & Requirements Demonstrable experience in a supervisory capacity at a retail store, or similar. Extensive experience with preparing budgets, and financial and expense reports. In-depth knowledge of product and consumer trends, and marketing strategies. Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers. Competency in retail management software, such as AIM and NetSuite. Proficiency with spreadsheet and word processing software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
