The consultants on our talent acquisition team, who are proud of their virtual and forward-looking approach to their trade, are busy scouting for us across Canada. Team members are developing a clear model of service delivery. They are supported in this initiative by a team specializing in the management of programs to acquire the talent we need to improve systems and tools and optimize work processes.
Together, we form a passionate, creative, and dynamic team with ambitious goals. We work hard to provide managers and candidates with an exceptional experience, to find solutions to complex problems, and to help our centers of excellence and company-wide teams achieve strategic priorities.
Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together
As a talent acquisition consultant in a market where companies are increasingly grabbing talented candidates, you will put your expertise and innovative approach to good use enabling TELUS to offer its products and services as well as its exceptional Customer Experience.
You are the archetypal go-between. You will find the right balance between the roles of talent scout and talent agent. As a virtual member of your client group, you will use your know-how to guarantee that we have all the talent necessary for now and the future. You clearly understand the recruitment team's role and importance in a broader context so much so that the candidates often think that you yourself are a part of it.
Your natural curiosity, extraordinary insight, listening skills, and ability to see the big picture inspire confidence in managers and candidates alike. You know what is important to them. You represent the best of both worlds. Not only do you help candidates and managers, but you also develop strategies to lead projects that will take the company forward.

You will keep abreast of changes and trends in the field and in technologies, then use these observations to develop the practice of talent acquisition and define client group objectives
You’re the missing piece of the puzzle
You are bilingual (oral and written)
Known for your ability to listen, question, analyze and communicate clearly and simply, you will understand and evaluate the needs of recruitment managers and candidates, and you know how to define expectations
Sense of urgency and ability to thrive under pressure; you are results-driven and a go-getter who can work in a time-sensitive environment
You have the proactive ability to sense problems and opportunities, analyze facts and data, and develop and implement solutions
You know how to confront difficult situations and use your talent as an influencer and negotiator with stakeholders, including executives

You collaborate with others and facilitate their involvement; you support your colleagues and readily highlight their achievements
You are a social media buff
