Job Description
You will be at the heart of operations related to human resources management. You will contribute with care, efficiency, and discretion to the proper functioning and optimization of the Human Resources Department's service offering. You will work closely with your HR colleagues and the payroll department in a collaborative, collegial, and fun environment.
A typical workday:
Process employee, student, and intern attendance for payroll production and monthly scholarship payments;
Coordinate and facilitate weekly welcome events for new community members;
Ensure the management of disability and employment injury files in collaboration with the appropriate manager - Act as a resource person and communicate regularly with the employees concerned, as well as with the insurance company and/or the responsible governmental insurance in order to ensure the administrative follow-up of these files;
Receive, analyze and follow up on requests related to benefits such as group insurance and pension plans (RREGOP and RRPE), parental rights, and other leaves - Provide the necessary technical support to this effect;
Follow-up on work contracts using the computerized management system;
Act as a resource person for members of the internal community regarding policies, procedures, and regulations in effect, their rights and obligations;
Collect, verify, analyze, record data and produce reports, statistics, and dashboards related to human resources, as required;
Participate in various working committees to review and/or improve various HR processes;
Your profile:
You have a bachelor's degree in human resources, industrial relations, administration, or in a discipline deemed relevant;
You are rigorous, discreet, and emotionally intelligent;
You are resourceful and results-oriented;
You have a great ability to listen and respect individuals;
You are able to work with minimal supervision, prioritize and manage your time;
You are able to work on several files at the same time while respecting deadlines;
You have the ability to interact, communicate and maintain harmonious relationships with your colleagues and a diverse clientele.
You communicate very well, both orally and in writing, in French and English;
You are comfortable working with a computerized management system (ex: Workforce Now - ADP);
You are familiar with pension plans (RREGOP and RRPE) and benefits administered by Retraite Québec (an asset);
You are a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés (an asset).
