Job Description
Job Summary:
You are a Skilled Carpenter with experience in industrial piping projects. You will be an integral part of the Ledcor team working on oilfield tailings and pipeline projects. For you, safety and quality are a priority and you are proud of your work at the end of each day.
Essential Responsibilities:
Comprehend drawings to prepare layouts including selecting materials, planning sequences and methods of work, and measuring and marking materials to avoid costly mistakes or omissions.
Understand industrial concrete forming and engineered forming systems to accurately build concrete forms.
Check completed units to be sure they are level, square, plumb, and in the right size, shape, and location.
Ability to work from heights.
Willingness to do scaffolding work.
Requirements:
Have a Journeyperson Carpenter Ticket from a recognized provincial training authority.
Non-ticketed carpenters must have 4+ years of relevant experience in the industrial carpentry trade.
Experience with using formwork systems.
Experienced and skilled with tube and clamp scaffolding is an asset.
Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
Successful candidates will require CSTS 2020, CSO, or BSO.
Confined space and Fall Protect is an asset.
Work Conditions:
Shift-based position working 14 days on / 7 days off rotation.
Working 10-12 hours per day.
The site-based camp is provided.
Travel allowance is provided for those that qualify (non-locals).
Flights are not provided; would suit locals or candidates residing in western Canada
Work is expected to run until October 2023, a position with long-term potential.

Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
