Our goals include: – Break the isolation and promote the inclusion of young people from visible minorities within the community through diversified annual programming.– Participate in the educational success of young people through a homework assistance service.– Ensure the food security of neighborhood children by offering healthy meals and snacks, as well as cooking workshops.– Stimulate young people's self-esteem, and give them (re)confidence in themselves and in their abilities.Encourage and promote community involvement. Job summary: Under the authority of the direction of Atelier 850, the Research Support Agent will have to carry out research for new sources of funding that will support the organization's services/programs in terms of food security with a view to supporting the local food system in Little Burgundy. Tasks and Responsibilities: – Collaborate with the project steering team (composed of various actors from the community and volunteer citizens)– Support the development and implementation of a new youth socio-professional integration program and emerging food projects– Support the development of a funding strategy and prepare a schedule of grant applications for projects related to the local food system– Conduct research for new sources of funding, one-time or annual, specifically related to food security or the social economy– Participate in the drafting of certain grant applications during the summer of 2022– Communications (information sharing, proofreading, writing texts)– Data collection and reporting– Any related task Desired qualities: Excellent communication skills, meticulousness, and attention to detail, analytical mind, good organizational skills (multitasking, time management), resourcefulness, autonomy, team spirit, creativity Qualifications : – Hold a college or university degree (or are in the process of obtaining)– Fundraising experience within the community or cooperativesector – Good command of written and oral communication in French. English is an asset.– Mastery of computer tools and software
