We are looking for a driven and motivated IT professional who is looking for an opportunity to be part of a growing and exciting team in a challenging and evolving environment. Cyber Security Operations Analysts are responsible for the day-to-day operations of controls under the direct responsibility of Information Security. The position will be based in Montreal and will be reporting to the Director of Information Security (CISO) Responsibilities Configure, monitor, and operate security operation systems (SIEM, Email, Firewalls, Access Management, Cloud-based controls) Provide security oversight for new systems and major system releases by reviewing system security capabilities, and recommending improvements; Define secure configurations leveraging advanced technical knowledge and problem-solving skills in the network, database, server, and desktop technology areas; Identify the need for and develop new and improved procedures and process control manuals; Investigate security events for possible signs of intrusions; Participate in incident response as part of a multi-disciplinary team; Skills Undergraduate Degree (BS/BA or equivalent combination of education/experience). Certification in security standards is an asset. Desired one Information Security certification or willingness to earn within 12 months of joining (CISSP, GIAC series, or Equivalent); 5+ years experience in security operations (access management, incident/change management handling, computer forensics, intrusion prevention); Technical experience in security operations supporting a large user environment; solid understanding of industry-standard security practices; Strong understanding of standard security frameworks (ISO-27001, NIST, SOC) Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required; Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; Strong oral and written communications skills and bilingual; Strong Customer and Vendor relationship management skills with the ability to handle conflict and negotiations; Flexible and adaptive, collaborative team player; Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize work, and be well organized; Experience in infrastructure using IAAS, PAAS, SAAS, cloud computing in general, and managed services.
