We have an exciting opportunity in our Calgary office for a Senior Architectural Technologist who brings experience working as a Job Captain on projects in a Revit environment.  Using your Revit skills, you will work with a team to lead a variety of production tasks to prepare documents needed to take a building from original concept to completion.  What you’ll be doing at Kasian: Work with your project team to deliver project documentation requirements through all project phases Lead, develop, prepare, and review Design Development Drawings (DD) and outline specifications Lead, develop, prepare, and review Contract Documents (CD) and specifications Ensure coordination of consultant documentation with respect to project criteria, client program, drawings, and specifications; review the work of consultants Direct the preparation of tender documents Attend coordination and site meetings Coordinate drawing production to accommodate required tender packages Research construction materials Perform code and bylaw analysis Perform Quality Control procedures Provide mentorship and guidance and direction to other Production Team Members What you bring to Kasian  A minimum of eight years of experience as an architectural technologist An Architectural Technology Diploma or Architecture Degree Experience working on projects in a variety of sectors  Proficiency in construction documentation including envelope detailing a must Fluency with Revit A solid understanding of current building systems, materials, and building codes A passion for accuracy A collaborative and flexible approach Motivation, great organizational skills Excellent communication skills Experience mentoring junior and intermediate technologists This opportunity is an exceptional career fit for a candidate with long-term ambitions to contribute to one of Canada’s top architectural practices.
